DID YOU KNOW God is ONLY Saving Outside the Churches??

Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment is come: Revelation 14:7

Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.  Zephaniah 2:3

 Dearly Beloved:

We are living at a most unique and propitious time in history, when the Bible’s prophecies concerning the end times are coming to pass before our very eyes! Satan has been loosed to rule in the local congregations worldwide in accordance with 1 Peter 4:17

For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

Christ gave a significant time clue in Matthew 24:32-33

32  Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33  So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

“these things” are happening today! Matthew 24:21-25

21  For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

22  And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

23  Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25  Behold, I have told you before.

Satan comes as an angel of light, as the anti-Christ.

The fact that God’s judgment has fallen on the churches and congregations worldwide means that the we must depart out of spiritual Babylon if we are to remain obedient to God’s commandments.

Matthew 24:14-16

14  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

15  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

16  Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

Luke 21:20-22

20  And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

21  Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.

22  For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

Jeremiah 51:6

6  Flee out of the midst of [spiritual] Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.

Revelation 13:7 And it was given [by God] unto him [the beast, Satan] to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Micah 4:10  Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city [Jerusalem, spiritual Babylon, local congregations], and thou shalt dwell in the field [the world], and thou shalt go even to [secular] Babylon [north country]; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

In Micah 4:10 The daughter of Zion, the true believers, typified by Daniel, shall go forth out of the churches, where Satan rules spiritually, shall dwell in the field, that is, the world, even to Babylon, that is, the secular world that is ruled over by Satan under God’s authority.

John 3:16-18 God is still saving outside the churches

16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Today, the prophecy of Matthew 13:34-39 regarding the end-time harvest is being fulfilled.

34  All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:

35  That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

36  Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

37  He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38  The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

39  The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels [Greek: angelos, messengers].

The messengers in this harvest are the true believers who today are outside the churches, remaining on the housetops, publishing the true Gospel of judgment and salvation. The Gospel is life unto life, death unto death.

Joel 2:1-2 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Today, God is revealing new truths that were kept sealed until the end times. Daniel 12:9-10 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Romans 9:25-29 As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.

26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:

28 For he will finish the word [Greek: logos], and cut it short in righteousness: because a short word [Greek: logos] will the Lord make upon the earth.

29 And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.

  • Does the Bible have any words of encouragement for the descendants of Ishmael and of Keturah in our day?

Yes, the word of God has wonderful things to say!

Isaiah 60:6-7 The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD. All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.

Today, God’s blessing rests on a people which were not my people, a people which were not beloved.

Galatians 4:27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.

Isaiah 60:5,11 Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee. Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.

Perhaps you may be one who is saying in his heart, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning. God declares in 2 Peter 3:3-7

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.

Hebrews 3:15-19 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation. For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses. But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

Psalm 103:8-11 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever. He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities. For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

Hebrews 12:25-29

25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Sadly, those who remain in the churches today are deceived that all is well with their souls, peace and safety…Jeremiah 5:30-31 declares

A wonderful and horrible thing is committed in the land; The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule by their means; and my people love to have it so: and what will ye do in the end thereof?

1 Thessalonians 5:3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

I know that I am a sinner, what can I do to be saved?

The answer is, there is nothing that I, being dead in trespasses and sins, can do to affect my salvation!

Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened [made alive], who were dead in trespasses and sins;

John 6:29 This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

Galatians 2:16a Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ

Romans 9:15-16 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion. So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

What about the churches that say, we will show you how to become saved, or, you must be baptized in water and partake of the Lord’s supper?

Virtually every church promotes a do-it-yourself salvation, which is not that of the Bible! The baptism that is required is the washing away of our sins, which only God can perform. When we meditate on the word of God with a view to being obedient to it, we are feeding on the flesh and blood of the Lord Jesus. John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

Does not Hebrews 10:25 teach we are not to neglect the assembling of ourselves as we see the day approaching?

The Greek word translated “assembling” is found in only one other place in the Bible, in 2 Thessalonians 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

How are we gathered together at Christ’s coming? The answer of the Bible is, we are gathered one by one.

Luke 17:33-35 Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it. I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left. Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Does not 1 Timothy 3:15 teach the church is the pillar and ground of the truth?

Absolutely not! Christ is God, the chief cornerstone, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Did not Christ teach the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church?

Yes, this is so, and we must under-stand that Christ is referring to the eternal, invisible church consisting only of those who do become saved.

What about the teaching that God is not saving anyone who was not saved prior to May 21, 2011?

The Bible teaches very emphatically that salvation is available right to the last day when Christ appears and raises up the bodies of the believers in the sight of their enemies.

Isaiah 60:11a Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night;

Isaiah 54:7-8a For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee

2 Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation).

John 7:37-38 In the last day, that great day of the feast [of tabernacles], Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

Isaiah 62:11 Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

A prime example of the salvation today outside the churches is that of Nineveh in Jonah chapter 3:4-9

And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown. So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water: But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands. Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?

Is there hope of salvation for those who remain in the churches?

The environment in which God is saving today is outside the churches; if there are God’s elect within the churches, God will lead them out prior to the day of judgment, even as God laid hold upon the hand of Lot and his two daughters, and brought them forth abroad, and set them without the city of Sodom, prior to raining down fire and brimstone on that wicked city (Gen. 19:16; Isa. 3:9).

Jeremiah 31:8-9a Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth with child together: a great company shall return thither. They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them:

HOLY GOD IS STILL SAVING!!

AND SAID,

"I WILL VISIT YOU" [Jer 29:10]

We here at Alameda Bible Fellowship recognize that the true believers today are being gathered together "as one man" (Ezra 3:1, Nehemiah 8:1) with a common goal, namely, the glory of God and the salvation of all God's elect, and that God is revealing many truths today that run counter to the teachings fostered during the church age.

To that end we encourage other like-minded Bible students to provide any comments or suggestions for how we might improve our Gospel tract which is updated from time to time as new truths are being discovered and integrated with everything else the Bible teaches.

We would also ask that in doing so, a firm Biblical basis be established, with supporting Biblical references, and showing how the suggested improvement integrates with the entire Bible. A fundamental Biblical principle that can not be overstated in its importance is that any new doctrine or teaching must be tested against the whole Bible. That is, words or verses do not stand alone, and may not be isolated from the whole Bible to support any particular conclusion, no matter how attractive that conclusion may seem or appear to be supported by a subset of verses. Any conclusion must be harmonized with the whole Bible.

Please e-mail your suggestions to:  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Thank you.

JUDGMENT DAY is feared by the world and is the day that Holy God will destroy the world because of the sins of mankind.

The world is correct in believing that Judgment Day will come.

 Jude 1:14-15

14  And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

15  To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

The Bible is the Holy Book written by Holy God, consisting of the Old Testament and the New Testament, and completed around 95 A.D. Each and every word in the original languages (Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek) is from the mouth of God.

2 Peter 1:20-21

20  Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

21  For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

2 Timothy 3:16

16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

God is revealing much more information at this time in history than He has ever revealed in the past, when we are very near the  end of time. This new information comes directly out of the Bible, which has not changed over the course of the last 1900 years.

Daniel 12:9

9  And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried: but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

Habakkuk 2:1-3

1  I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

2  And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

3  For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.

As we approach the end of time, the words given to Daniel, the vision given to Habbakuk, and other similar passages have been unsealed, revealing many new truths that run counter to many pre-conceived ideas fostered during the church age, which has now ended.

The Bible warns that the end of the world will be parallel to the worldwide flood of Noah’s day and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah by fire:

Luke 17:26-32

26  And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27  They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

28  Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

29  But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30  Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

31  In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop, and his stuff in the house, let him not come down to take it away: and he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.

32  Remember Lot's wife.

To remain on the housetop is language signifying that the believers are to remain outside the local congregations, declaring salvation in Christ alone, without the need for any human intercessor such as a pastor or priest or elder.

Jeremiah 31 verse 34
And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Revelation 11:7-8

7  And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

8  And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

The beast is a reference to Satan, the antichrist.

The great city is Jerusalem, which typifies the local congregations worldwide.

 Micah 4 verse 9

Now why dost thou cry out aloud? Is there no king in thee? Is thy counselor perished? For pangs taken thee as a woman in travail. Be in pain, and labour to bring fourth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go event to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

Today God is “sifting” (weeding out) those who claim a relationship with Christ.

Amos 9:9-10

9  For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth.

10  All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.

The house of Israel is a reference to those who claim a saving relationship with the God of the Bible. Those who are not truly saved will be judged, whereas those who were chosen before the foundation of the world will be preserved.

Ezekiel 36:29-32

29  I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

30  And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

31  Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

32  Not for your sakes do I this, saith the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

Wonderfully, today, God is rebuilding the eternal tabernacle of David completely apart from the activity and oversight of the local congregations.

Amos 9:11-12

11  In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old:

12  That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD that doeth this.

The remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, are the elect who are chosen of God before the foundation of the world for salvation, who come out from the world that is under God's wrath.

Isaiah 60:9-11

9  Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee.

10  And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee.

11  Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.

The salvation of today is a response to the prayer of King Solomon in

1 Kings 8:50

50 And forgive thy people that have sinned against thee, and all their transgressions wherein they have transgressed against thee, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them:

Perhaps the best example in the Bible of the salvation that is happening today is that of the city of Nineveh. The prophet Jonah was sent to Nineveh, a pagan city outside of Israel, who knew nothing of the God of the Bible, which typify the elect people of today who are outside the churches in the world.

Jonah 3:4-9

4  And Jonah began to enter into the city a day's journey, and he cried, and said, Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.

5  So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them.

6  For word came unto the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne, and he laid his robe from him, and covered him with sackcloth, and sat in ashes.

7  And he caused it to be proclaimed and published through Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles, saying, Let neither man nor beast, herd nor flock, taste any thing: let them not feed, nor drink water:

8  But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.

9  Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?

The reaction of the people and of the king of Nineveh is a dramatic illustration of how God works in the hearts of His elect people.

Today there is abundant evidence that the world, like Nineveh of old, is on the brink of destruction, The signs set forth in the Bible shewing that we are very near the end are clearly in evidence.

Because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall grow cold. (Matt. 24:12)

The abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel (a reference to Satan), is standing in the holy place (local congregations world-wide) (Matt. 24:15; 2 Thes. 2:3-4)

False Christs, and false prophets, shall arise with signs and wonders to deceive the very elect, if that were possible (Matt. 24:24). In addition, a significant milestone is Matthew 24:32-33:

32  Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33  So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

The "fig tree" is a parabolic reference to the nation of Israel from which Christ came forth.

Acts 2:22-24

22  Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

23  Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

24  Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

Christ ministered personally to the nation of Israel for 3-1/2 years, shewing through miracles and signs that He was the promised Messiah of the Old Testament, and yet, with the exception of a tiny remnant of believers, the nation of Israel rejected him and put Him to death. Therefore, Christ cursed the fig tree.

Mark 11:12-14

12  And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry:

13  And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

14  And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

When Christ cursed the fig tree, it meant that never again would the nation of Israel be used of God as the caretaker of the Gospel. even as today God is no longer utilizing  the local congregations. And yet, significantly, 70 years ago, in 1948 A.D., the nation of Israel once again put forth leaves, that is, became a legitimate nation amongst the nations of the world, signifying that we are now entering an end-time period which would encompass the great tribulation and the latter rain when on the one hand, the true believers are being driven out of the churches, while simultaneously, outside the churches, summer is nigh, signifying harvest time, and harvest has to do with people becoming saved.

Jeremiah 29:10

10 For thus saith the LORD, That after [literally, when the edge of] seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.

To return to this place means to turn back to God in heartfelt repentance and confession of sin.

Jeremiah 31:8-9

Behold I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that travaileth
with child together: a great company shall return thither.
They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way...

This brief period of intense repentance and salvation outside the churches culminates in the literal return of Christ on the last day, when all the elect of God shall be bodily raised up and instantly receive a brand-new incorruptible body.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

For the Lord himself shall shall descent from heaven with a shout, with the voice of Archangel [literally chief messenger], and with a trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

1 Corinthians 15:51-52

Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment in a twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

Given that two of the three major ceremonial feast days recorded in Exodus 23:14-16 (feast of unleavened bread, feast of harvest or firstfruits, and feast of ingathering, also called the feast of tabernacles) have been literally fulfilled in the New Testament, we would expect that the literal appearance of Christ will coincide with the feast of ingathering, which occurs in the Fall of each year.

John 7:37-38

In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. 38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

John 15:5

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

John 3:3

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again [literally, from above], he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Luke 11:13

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
